Paul and Beth met in the 1990’s while attending FIU and majoring in Hospitality Management. Over the next decade, they married, had 2 children and worked in the industry they loved. In 1999, they had an opportunity to create a concept with a love for home cooked classics, made with love - like mom or grandma had done.

 

We have a passion and love for our food, our employees and our guests. Our classic comfort-food restaurants (located in Weston and Winter Haven) specialize in meals that conjure nostalgia of days gone by with updated flavors of modern dishes to please every palate.

 

Our award-winning craft cocktails are a particular source of pride as we have created something for every preference you may have, in a comfortable and classic atmosphere evoking the history of beautiful downtown Winter Haven in the days gone by.

 

We enjoy making guests happy and helping them to celebrate their greatest life moments as well as bringing them together at the table to share a meal and the stories that unite us. Every day is a special day for our guests whether it’s an efficient business or casual lunch, our top-notch happy hour, daily “Blue Plate” specials, weekend brunch or dinner & drink night 7 days a week!

 

As much as we are committed to delighting every guest, we recognize it all starts with a great staff. “Our people are the face and backbone of our business. We believe if we take care of our people, our people will take care of our customers,” said Beth. “Everyone deserves a chance to earn a living while being treated with respect as well as enjoying healthcare and vacation benefits.” Even our part time employees can get their first paycheck, car, apartment, help them get through college, and support them in their endeavors, is the love we have for our employees. It is a true pleasure to serve those that work for us and care for our guests.
